CONSTRUCTION

Virtually each component is a one-off piece and is constructed according to the customer's requirements and specifications and policies. In doing so, CHRISTEN & LAUDON uses the most sophisticated 3D CAD software, providing the customer with 3D models of the components for further plant development. We create detailed manufacturing drawings for each project.
When designing the components, a number of policies must be followed. CHRISTEN & LAUDON is familiar with the following, major policies.

  • Europe: EN 13121, DGRL 2014/68/EU
  • Germany: DIBt / WHG / AwSV
  • Belgium: Vlarem II
  • Netherlands: KIWA
  • France: DT15
  • Switzerland: STVI
  • USA: RTP-1, SECTION X

The static layout is also carried out at CHRISTEN & LAUDON. It is performed according to the agreed applicable standards. If further calculations are required, which cannot be carried out using the standard formulas from the standards, these are complemented by FEM calculations, for example.
