Ever since 1960, we have been developing and supplying solutions for technically high-quality and economically viable plastic containers, apparatus and pipes. Due to the almost complete range of plastics processed by CHRISTEN & LAUDON, we are able to offer our customers a customised solution that is both technically excellent and economically very interesting. We are an experienced manufacturer of apparatus, tanks, containers and pipes.

FRP is our most frequently used material, owing to its very high strength and excellent chemical stability.
FRP has outstanding technical properties and is highly economical at the same time.
We process the entire material range, from polyester resins, vinyl ester resins to novolak resins, selecting the most suitable material. Owing to its excellent chemical stability, ECR glass is used almost exclusively.

If the properties of the aforementioned materials are not sufficient for an application, we often select a combination of FRP with thermoplastic liner.
Here, we utilise the combination of excellent chemical stability of the thermoplastic materials with the very high strength of FRP. This enables us to safely realise stringent requirements in terms of chemical stability, even in combination with high temperatures.

APPARATUS

The use of apparatus made of GRP and GRP with a thermoplastic liner is becoming increasingly important in the industry. The combination of FRP and thermoplastic lining has proven to be suitable for use under extreme conditions.

The appliances are designed and manufactured at Christen & Laudon according to our customers' specifications. All conceivable shapes can be produced. These include scrubbers, separators, droplet separator housings and quenches. These can be made of FRP with or without a thermoplastic inliner.

PIPES

Thanks to their good chemical resistance and high pressure resistance, FRP pipes are used in industrial plants, in irrigation technology and to some extent in the sanitary sector for waste water pipes. Christen & Laudon supplies these from a nominal diameter of DN 1,000 mm. This makes them a perfect addition to our product portfolio in the area of apparatus.

The pipes are produced automatically on modern winding equipment. Protective chemical coatings are also possible. Our glass fibre reinforced plastic pipes not only solve the challenges of modern infrastructure economically, but also ecologically.

VESSELS - TANKS

Christen & Laudon's plastic vessels are used in industry and plant construction wherever other materials are not suitable due to their properties. Dimensions and materials are customised as required.

Whether storage, filling, handling or production, treatment or use, we find the ideal solution in both glass fibre reinforced plastic and the composite of FRP with thermoplastic lining.

When manufacturing the vessels, we rely on tried-and-tested production processes as well as continuous and precise quality control. Vessels from Christen & Laudon therefore fulfil the highest safety standards.
