GFRP is an allied material made of glass and resin. It joines the extreme high tug-security of fibreglass with the corrosion- and media-durability of resin. According to the profile of demandings unsatisfied polyester-, vinylester- or epoxid-resin will be used. Also because of the choice of the intensification-fibre in form of textile-glass-, synthetic- or coal-fibre-kinds change the characteristica of the material.
Beside the material-components also wall construction and the technique of the manufacturing determine the final mechanical and chemical profile of a GFRP-construction-part.
